nections to the curb lines along the line of said improvement; all as is more particular
shown and all in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings, specifications
and engineer's estimate now on file in the office of the Department of Public 'Jlforks of
the City of South .send, Indiana.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Public :forks fix the 13th day of August,
1945 at the hour of 11:00 A.I`=i. at the office of the Board of Public '4orks of this city, a
the time and place for the public consideration of said proposed improvements at which
said Board of Public "forks will hear all persons interested, or whose property is liable
to be assessed for said improvement, and will decide whether the benefits to the property
liable to be assessed for said improvement will equal the estimated cost thereof.
BE IT FU_--, ER RESOLVED, That notice of the time and place of such lublic consideration
will be published and mailed in the manner provided by law. Notice of this resolutinn
jwhall be published on the 20th day of July and on the 27th day df July, 1945 in the South;
3end Daily Tribune and the Weekly Mirror.

July 16, 1945
A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, July 16, 1945
at 9:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
There.were no claims of suppliers to be approved. -
TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT: Mr. Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertain;
ing to his department were: discussed.
A memo' -qas received from the office of the City Clerk as follows:
At the July 9th meeting of the Council Councilman Brannan, made a motion that the
Board of Works and Safety, instruct the Traffic Engineer to take steps to install a traffic
light at the corner of Mishawaka Avenue and Tinryckenham Drive. If some definite action is!,
not taken before the next meeting, a resolution will be prepared and presented to the
Council.
This was referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and a report as soon as practical.
ENGINEERING ff� PA'Z,'I ANT : Contractor's Bonds in the amount of �%l 000.00 were approved for

STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters
pertaining to his department were discussed.
