Minutes of the last meeting were read. and approved. Salary claims in the amount of $10,207.53 were approved and ordered paid. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Contractoris bonds in the amount of w1000.00 wech were approved for Edward Burton, George Erlandson and W. O. Graham. These were ordered filed. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED: That the Federal Public Housing Authority and the Housing Authority of South Bend, Indiana, be permitted to connect a sewer drain for the community building adjacent to the Hering House on ti'iestern Avenue to the sewer on that Street. DEDICATION WI3EREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys, indicated thereon, is now presented to the Board, to be known.as Jefferson Acres subdivision to the City of South Bend, Indiana; This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the hoard of Public Safety in Row #21, Drawer #4 and recorded in Boogk" # Page # , in the Recorderts Office of St. Joseph County; Now THEREFORE, be.it resolved by the Board of Public 'dorks and Safety of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the public use in said Plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalf cf the City of South Bend, Indiana. The above plat was approved by the City Plan Commission and submitted to the Board for their acceptance. STREET DEPART14ENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski., street Corzmissioner, was present and Natters pertaining to his department were discussed. CEMETEKY DEPAHTMETTT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matter spertainina. to his department were discussed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 A.M.
