A regular meeting Of the Board of Public 'plorks was held on Monday, December 18,
1944 at 9:00 a.m. All members were present', minutes of the last meeting; were read and
approved._ Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $4,553.34 were approved a;

STREET'DEPARTMENT: 11r. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters
pertaining to his department were discussed.
ENGINEERIlNDEPART14ENT: A petition was received containing fourty-four names of the
Lincoln arent-Teacher Association asking that a street light be installed near the
Northwest corner of the Lincoln School on Vernon Street North of Calvert. A letter
was sent to the Principal of the Lincoln School asking that a representative of the
Parent-Teacher Association be present at the next regular meeting of the Board to
disauss.the installation of the street light.
Excavation bonds were approved and ordered filed for the following:
Arthur W. Deppert, Balbina Perkins, doing business as Harry D. Perkins Company, W. ,
Sibley, United Heating and Plumbing Company and J. B. Fleck
CEMETERY DEPART14ETT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain-
ing to his department were discussed.
