A letter from the Parent Teachers Associaton of James Monroe School asking that
a sidewalk be installed around.the school and down the street was referred to the
Engineering Department for investigation and report.

Whitcomb and Keller, for a sewer on South Main Street from Dean Street to Sherwood
Avenue, was approved by the Board.
DEDICATION
"JIiEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys, indicated thereon, is now
presented to the Board, to be ?mown as "Whitcomb & Keller's South Main Street Sub. -Div. "
to the city of South Bend, Indiana.
This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and
Safety in Row #21, Drawer Q and. recorded d.ed in .door r" Page , in the Recorder's
office of St. Joseph County.
NUIJ., :, -RE ORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of South
Bend, Inc'<iana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the
public use in said. Plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said 3oard for and on
behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana. The above plat -seas approved by the City
Plan Commission and submitted to the �3oard for their acceptance.
The Hoard approved the plans for a proposed driveway for a new garage building
j at Reliable Dairy, Inc., 909 Bast Broadway, South Bend, Indiana. I

and assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Donald Street from the "Jest iI
line of High Street to the Studebaker Para Golf Links, under vacation resolution No. 2529
In the above named assessment roll, the 3oarl hereby orders that it will meet in
ithe City,Hall at 1100 A.2. , on the 4th day of December, 1944 for the purpose of hearing
it and receiving remorstrances,,from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation
! and the :hoard further orders that notice of said hearing, to„ether with the amount of
[damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publication i
of same on the loth day of November and on the 170 day of November, 1944 in the South
Bend Daily Tribune and the Keekly :Mirror.
A contractor's bond was approved for Alex Ebleshi and was ordered filed. A contrac
tor's ,bond was also approved for the Belleville Lumber Company and Vas ordered filed.
