Ernest killer, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters perta ing to his department were discussed. The Board approved the plans and specifications for the installation of part of the Traffic Signal Systems for the uptown district and directed the Clerk of the Board to advertise for bids for same as soon as the State Board of Accounts have approvea the transfer of funds'for the said installation. STREET DEPARTMENT: Hr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters pertaining to" his department were discussed. ENGINEERING DEPARU ENT: -The Board approved the established grade for the first alley. East of High Street from Broadway to the alley North, and the grade for the alley north of Broadway from ;Nigh Street to the second alley East. The 3oard approved a private sewer connection at Medora and Elwood Streets for Dre`e^Try's Ltd. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2529 This being the date set hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by the Board of Public Works for the vacation of that portion of Donald Street from the '::Test line of High Street to the Studebaker Park Golf Links, under vacation resolution no. 2529. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proof of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and the said alley be vacated.- The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessm roll covering the assessments of benefits and the awards of damages to the surrounding properties. t • • • •
