A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on 1,1onday, July 31, 1944
at 9:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and
approved. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $578.55 were approved and

pertaining to his department were discussed.
'{ ENGINEERING DEP.ART1.1ENT: Mr. Clyde E. Williams presented to the Board a letter from
Mr. J. T. Voshell, District Engineer, relative to the improvement of Gertrude Street,
stating the information was forwarded to the District Engineer of the Nar Department
at Louisville, Kentucky for consideration. This let -er is filed in the office of the

1 Contractor's bonds in the amount of 41,000.00 were approved for C. W. Hushower,
j� John Fleishman,..Julius 11. Berta and Russell Perkins. These were ordered filed.

TRAFFIC ENGINEER: Mr. Ernest H. TvTiller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters per
taining to his department were discussed.
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaini
to his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the. Board, the meeting was adjourned
