A regular meeting of the Board of Public 'iorks was held on Monday, July 31, 1944
at 9:00 A.M. All members were present, Minutes of the last meeting were read and
approved. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $578.55 were approved and
ordered paid:

STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matte
pertaining to his department were discussed.
' ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Mr. Clyde E. Williams presented to the Board a letter from
i Mr. J. T. Voshell, District Engineer, relative to the improvement of Gertrude Street,
°i stating the information was forwarded to the District Engineer of the near Department
at Louisville, Kentucky for consideration. This letter is filed in the office of the
jI Board of Public- ilorks.
1 Contractor's bonds in the amount of $1,000.00 were approved for C. W. Hushower,
j� John Fleishman,..Julius M1. Berta and Russell Perkins. These were ordered filed.

TRAFFIC ENGINEER: TL-. Ernest H. Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters per
taining to his department were discussed.
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaini
to his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the. Board, the meeting was a.djourne
at 11: 30 A.M.
