A regular meeting of the .Board of Public Wlorks aas held on 'Monday, January 10,
1944 at 9:00'.''T. All members T�vere present._ �-linutes of the ,last meeting were read
and approved. Salary claims in the amount of �%-1.259.97 were approved and ordered paid.
STREET DEPART?aTENT: 1.1r. Anthenv Zmudzinski, Street Corimissioner, was present and matters
pertaining to his depart -,rent were discussed.
EKGI-v�EERIXG DEPAR'1 `SENT: Official, notice was received of the approval of an approp:?iatio�
of'Q6.,500.00 for the Fellows Street and Chippewa Avenue paving, frorl the Indiana Board
of Tax Commissioners. A certification that funds were appropriated for the City;ps . •
portion of the project, was made by the City Controller, for filing with the Federal

This being the date set for the hearing on the' resolution heretofore adopted by E
the Board, for the vacation of the alley north of .Tadison Street from the East line of

of January, 1944 and publication having been made in the ouch Bend Tribune and the

to said resolution, and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk of �

The Board approved the plans and specifications for t'^e repair of the East Arch
of the Jefferson Street ?r idgc, and the Cler': cf 'he Beard was authorized to advertise
for bids on same.
