CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain- ing to his department were discussed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjnurn at 10:30 A.1A. MEETING - NOVEMBER 15, 1943 A regular meeting of the Board of Public +fforks was held on Monday, November 15, 1943 at 9:00 A.M, All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read CD and approved. Salary claims in the amount of $7,547.32 were approved and ordered paid. The purpose of such appropriation is for opening and paving of Chippewa Avenue from the East line of Michigan Street to'the North and South center line of Section 25, Township 37 North; Range 2 East, and the opening and paving of Fellows Street from the North line of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, South a distance of 658.7 feet. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the loth day of November, and the 26th day of November, 1943, in the South Bend Tribune and the ,eekly Idlirror for public hearing on the 6th day of December, 1943. The Board of Public Works and Safety, at its office in the City Hall, on the eth day of December, 1943 at 10:00 A.Y. (C."ff.T.) will hear and receive remonstrance from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. Mechlin relative to re- serving parking space in front of the Associates Building forArmy cars. Mr. Miller declined the request.
