STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commkssioner, was present and matt
pertaining to his,department were discussed.
Mr. Zmudzinski turned over to the Board, 12900 received from the Northwest Truck-
ing Company for grading.
This being the date set for opening bids requested for one asphalt spreader, and".
only one bid being received, said bid was opened and read by Mr. Williams. Korte
Brothers of Fort -Wayne, Indiana, bid on one used asphalt spreader, capacity.870 gallon
price $2,200.00. A bid bond in the amount of $500.00 accompanied the bid. No action
was taken.
TRAFFIC ENGINEER: Mr, Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertain
to his department were discussed.
CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Cemetary Sexton, was present and matters
pertaining to his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the Board,

STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: The installation of the Duey Street sewer was discussed and
Mr. Williams was instructed to prepare an estimate of the cost of installation.
Excavation bonds were approved for the Goheen Heating and Plumbing Company, The
Northern Indiana Public Service Company and Chester and Alex Niezgodski. These were
ordered filed.
A Contractor's bond in the amount of $1,000.00 was approved for Oden R.-Robertson,,
This waa ordered filed.
CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Cemetary Sexton, filed his report for
the month of ugust.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
