Van Riessen, showing, the proposed coal and ash bins under the sidewalk and curb lavm at the South Bend Tool and Die Company.on South iiain Street. This print was ordered filed. This being the date set, hearing was held on the assess?gent roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the -matter of vacation of the second alley North of Rupel Street from the alley i est of Brookfield Street to Johnson Street. In the above assessment_ roll, no remonstrator,-, appeared and no written remonstrance were -filed, the Clerk o ` the 3oard submitted proofs of publication of notices and same ,,vere found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benef itted and damaged in the amounts shorn on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take action on said assessment roll, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedin--s closed C. and the alley vacated upon receipt of the a� count of benefit assessments from the various property ourners so benefitted, and all proceedings had with reference to said alley vacation are hereby sustained.
