This being the date set for the hearing on the resolution here-
tofore,adopted by the Board for the vacation of the first alley North
of Colfax Avenue from Hill St., to the alley East of -Till St., and the
hearing on said resolution Having been set for 10:00 A. M. on the
day of May, 1941, and publication having been made in the South Bend
Tribune and the South Bend Mirror on the 18th day of April and on the
25th day of April, 1941 respectively, and being now 10:30 A. M. on
May 5th, and no remonstrances having been filed with the Board, and
no one having appeared in opposition to said resolution, it was moved,
seconded and unanimously carried that the resolution #2507 vacating
said alley be finally adopted and said alley be vacated.
The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment
roll covering the benefits and damages to the surrounding property.
