ENGINEERING DEPARTIMENT: nr: Williams presented a letter from the New York Central
Railroad stating that a car load of material was expected and that they would be able
to start repairing the Twyckenham Crossing about the first of May.
The Board authorized I.Ir. Clyde `, illiazris, City` Civil Engineer; to go to Chicago `
April 20 and 21st, to inspect the construction of patented asphalt Material for use
in patching streets.
LEGAL:'_DEPARTI'Y"ENT: The hearing on the condemnation proceedings for the property which
lies immediately south of the present City Hall had been postponed until this date, and
was again postponed until April 26. No remonstrators appeared.
There being no further business to come before the :Board, the meeting; adjourned
at 10:00 A.Y.

STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Tony Zmudzinski, City Street Co=gissioner., was present at
the meeting and matters pertaining to his department were discussed.
The Board authorized I11r. Z_m.udzinski to have a street s:reeper completely over-
hauled by the lViunicipal Supply Company at a cost of $458.00
Vh?. Zmudzinski presented '515.00 to the Board :Jhich was received from the Tucker
Company for the use of the grader.
E uGINEERIIvG DEPARUJENT: The Traffic Engineer, at the request of the Board, has written
a letter to the Chicago, South Bend and South Shore Railroad, to determine whether or `
not they would install certain warning signs along their right of way intersections"
immediately.
LEGlL DEPAPLTP"T l The condemnation proceedings on the property -rdhich lies i ediately

postponed until the morning of May 3, 1943. No remonstrators appeared.
