The Board authorized I.Ir. Clyde `, illiazris, City` Civil Engineer; to go to Chicago ` April 20 and 21st, to inspect the construction of patented asphalt Material for use in patching streets. LEGAL:'_DEPARTI'Y"ENT: The hearing on the condemnation proceedings for the property which lies immediately south of the present City Hall had been postponed until this date, and was again postponed until April 26. No remonstrators appeared. There being no further business to come before the :Board, the meeting; adjourned at 10:00 A.Y. The Board authorized I11r. Z_m.udzinski to have a street s:reeper completely over- hauled by the lViunicipal Supply Company at a cost of $458.00 Vh?. Zmudzinski presented '515.00 to the Board :Jhich was received from the Tucker Company for the use of the grader. E uGINEERIIvG DEPARUJENT: The Traffic Engineer, at the request of the Board, has written a letter to the Chicago, South Bend and South Shore Railroad, to determine whether or ` not they would install certain warning signs along their right of way intersections" immediately.
