A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, March 1, 1943
at 9:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and
approved. Claims of the following suppliers, in the amount of $1833.,97 were approved
ordered paid.

STREET DEPARTME71 T: Mr. Tony Zmudzinski, Commissioner was present and matters pertaining
to his department were discussed.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMiEIT: The Board approved excavation bonds in the amount of $1000.00
for 'William L. Turnock and John G. Kestler. These bonds were ordered filed.
Beginning March 2nd, 1943, the City Hall will be opened at 9:00 A. M. and closed
at 5:00 P. M. This includes all departments.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the _Meeting adjourned at
10:00 A.•M.

SPECIAL MEETING -- KARCH 5, 1943
A Special meeting of the Board of Public 'Works was held on Friday, March 3, 1943
at 1:30 P. K., for the purpose of accepting bids for the moving of the Moretreneh
boiler house and boiler from Lincolnway.E. to the Niles Avenue yard. The City Engineer
reported that bids had been requested from Thomas L. Hickey, Ralph Sollitt & Sons, Tayloi
Bros., and Rocco Semeri. Only one bid was submitted, that being the bid of Rocco Semeri
for $250.00.
The Board authorized the awarding of the work to Rocco Semeri and ordered the work
done at once.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at
2:00 P. M.
