A regular meeting of the Board of Public 'c orks was held on 1,1onday, November 9, 1942
at 9 :00 A. Ti. Two members were resent, T� r. 3a r f Driggs being absent. Minutes of
the last meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the amount of 68,094.78
were approved and ordered -said.. Claims of the following suppliers., in the amount of

TRAFFIC C01. _I1ISSIOT•1: The Board approved the reco=endation of Ernest Miller Traffic
Engineer, for the �r'ridening of ^enns�rlvania Avenue -,rest of _ la_mi- Street, provided the
cost of rey-llacing the curb and naving the widened area is not an expense to the City,
The Board grantee the -1Ier-thern Indiana Transit Con-c-a= the, right to extend the
,Zadison Street bus line, and the rf;7ht to use additional city streets to extend this
service to :,=isha� a'_ka, Indiana.
