STREET DEPART1,!,'D-qT: Mr. Tony Zmudzinsk-1, Commissioner, was authorized to -ourchase mater-
ial for putting a new railing 37- along the river on Hydraulic Avenue. The posts are to be

purchased from the Columbia Creosoting Co., of Columbus., Indiana, the price being '2.10
each for 60 - 6" x 8" x 61 creosoted, drilled and tapered. The Hurwich Iron Company
will furnish 5/8" cable, the price being $42.00 for 1200 feet.
ENGINEEPRING DEPARTMENT: Excavation bonds were received for 0. J. Shoemaker and Ed. L.
Zimmerman. These bonds were approved and ordered filed.
ELECTRIC DEPARTUT'ENT: The Board approved the installation of a 1000 lumen light at 25th
Street and Kerslake Court., a 4000 lumen light at 36th St. and the alley, and a 4000
lumen light at North Side Blvd., and 35t�� Street, and instructed 1.1r. Qualls to have these
lights installed.
CEMETERY DE-"PiCiTMENT: 1-rdr. Lisle ID'IcNabb presented his financial report for the year 1941.
This repent was ordered filed.
There being no -further business to come befo-re the Board, the meeting adjourned at
