CITY CLERK FOWLER ANNOUNCES
INTERACTIVE RESIDENTIAL LAWN PARKING MAP
FOR NOTRE DAME GAME DAYS
With the start of the 2017 Notre Dame Football season, City Clerk Kareemah Fowler is
proud to announce the launching of a new, interactive web-based parking map that helps
residents and visitors locate available lawn parking near Notre Dame Stadium. The hope
is that the interactive map will ease the hassle of game day parking and traffic, but also
offer fans a diversity of parking options and costs.
South Bend Municipal Code prohibits residential lawn parking without a temporary,
conditional permit for special events. The permit ensures that both residents and visitors
have a safe environment on game day. The map is a GIS application pinpointing resident
addresses that have been approved for the conditional lawn parking permit through the
Ordinance Violations Bureau (OVB). To access this new app visit the City Clerk’s

or concerns regarding the new Lawn Parking Map or retrieving lawn parking permits.
