NOTICE OF INTENT
Pursuant to Indiana Code 36-1-12-3 and Indiana Code 5-3-1, the City of South Bend
("City"), acting through its Board of Public Works, hereby posts notice of its intention to
perform the following two street paving projects with its own qualified workforce that are
estimated to cost more than $100,000 during the summer of 2017:
Washington Street (Williams St. to Chapin St.) — $105,427.09
Mayflower Road (Sample St. to Belleville Dr.) — $122,053.15
A public meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on June 27, 2017 in the Board of Public Works
Meeting Room, 1308 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana 46601, whereby the
intended public work will be discussed along with the legal justification for the City
performing this public work.
