RESOLUTION NO. 17---62
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION WITH THE
HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY, UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, FOR A GRAM' UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAIN
3459 84TH CONGRESS, AS AMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
ACCELERATION ACT.
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Public Law 3459 as amended, the United
States of America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid
in financing the construction of specific public projects:
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana
1. That Frank J. Bruggner, Mayor of the City of South Bend,
Indiana be and he is hereby authorized to execute and
file an application on behalf of the City of South Bend
with the Housing and Hone Finance Agency, United States
Governments for a grant to aid in financing the con-
struction of storm sewers and street improvements.
2. That Frank J. Bruggner, Mayor of the City of South Bend,
Indiana be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
furnish such information as the Housing and Home Finance
Agency may reasonably request in connection with the
application which is herein authorized to be filed.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the passage, enrollment,
attestation and signature by the Clerk and presiding officer and approval by
the Mayor, this resolution shall become effective.
