Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana MAY 26, 19—64 City Clerk Approved and signed b m 1964 i� Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 69--64 RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE RADIO EQUIPMENT FUND OF THE SOUTH BEND FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4, 500.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THREE OTHER ACCOUNTS IN THE PLANT "M EQUIPMENT CATEGORY OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies ; and WHEREAS, radio equipment is urgently needed by the Fire Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $4, 500.00 is needed forthwith, and WHEREAS, A surplus exists in other accounts where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically as follows , to-wit : 1 . Two-thousand Dollars ($2,000 .00) in Item Q-722 designated as property, motor equipment ; 2 . Two-thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) in Item Q-726 designated as property, other equipment; and 3. Five-hundred Dollars ($500 .00) in Item .Q-73 designated as property, land. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sun of $4, 500.00 be transferred to Account No. Q-724 designated as property, radio equipment by transferring it from the following accounts , to-wit : 1 . Two-thousand Dollars ($2, 000 .00) from Account Q-722 2. Two-thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) from Account Q-726 3. Five-hundred Dollars ($500 .00) from Account Q-73, All of which said accounts are in the general property category of the Fire Department . � -.e. Member of the Common Council i
