RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
LAND ACCO=., OF THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT IN THE
2%MOUF1T OF $1000.00 A?TD T'', TRANSFER OF THE SAME
FROM THE MOTOR EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATLGORY
OF THi SANIT_Y"TON D3PAR'__ANT, ALL WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the
various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies;
and,
WHEREAS, Funds for land improvements are urgently needed by the Sani-
tation Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and
the sun of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars is needed forthwith; and,
WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently
needed at this time; and more specifically as follows, to-wit:
1. One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars in Account XX-722 designated as
Motor Equipment Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, that the sum of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars be transferred
to Account XX-73 designated as Land Account, by transferring it from Account
XX-722, both of said accounts being in the same category, to-wit: Properties,
of the Sanitation Department all within the General Fund.
