RESOLUTION NO. 152-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS , the County of St. Joseph acting by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of St. Joseph
County will construct a new County-City Building, a new
County Jail, and will remodel the existing St. Joseph
County Courthouse; and, Whereas the City of South Bend
has executed a certain Lease for portions of said
County-City Building and it is to the advantage to the
City of South Bend to minimize costs of said construction
and remodeling.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Building Commissioner
of the City of South Bend is hereby authorized and directed
to issue the necessary building permits for the construction
of the new County-City Building and the construction of the
new St. Joseph County Jail and for the remodeling of the
existing St. Joseph County Courthouse without payment of
fees as set forth in the Municipal Code of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, 1962, which fees are hereby expressly
waived.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon the adoption of the Common Council and approval of the
Mayor.
