RESOLUTION NO. 166-67
A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
IN ACCOUNT L-12 , "TEMPORARY HELP" , OF THE
OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $4000 .00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME
FROM ACCOUNT L-11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" , ALL
IN THE SAME CATEGORY, AND WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it
is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropri-
ated in the annual budget for the various functions of City
Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies , and
WHEREAS, Additional funds for Account L-12 , "Temporary
Help" , are urgently needed by the Office of the City Engineer
to assure its ability to properly perform its function and
the sum of $4000.00 is needed forthwith; and
WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it
is not presently needed; and more specifically as follows,
to wit:
$4000.00 in Account L-11 designated as
"Services Personal" .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $4000.00 be transferred
from Account L-11 designated as "Services Personal" to
Account L-12 designated as "'Temporary Help" , both of said
account being in the same category and all within the General
Fund .
