RESOLUTION NO. 181-68
A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
IN ACCOUNT 722, "MOTOR EQUIPMENT", OF THE DE-
PARTMENT OF REDEVELOPA.,TNT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00) DOLLARS, AND THE TRANS-
FER OF SAME FROM ACCOUNT 725, "OFFICE EQUIP-
MENT:, ALL IN THE SAME CATEGORY, AND WITHIN
THE REDEVELOPMENT FUND
VIFiEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of city government
to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
V!HEREA.S, Additional funds for the purchase of one auto-
mobile is needed by the Department of Redevelopment to assure its
ability to function and the sum of $500.00 is needed forthwith; and
WHEREAS. A surplus exists in another account where it is not
presently needed; and more specifically as follows, to-wit:
$500.00 in Account `725 designated
as "Office Equipment"
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CORAON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $500.00 be transferred from
Account 725 designated as "Office Equipment" to Account 722 designated
as "Motor Equipment", both of said accounts being in the same cate-
gory "Properties" and being with-in the Redevelopment Fund.
