RESOLUTION NO. 182-63
A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
IN ACCOUNT Q-722 MOTOR EQUIRENT, OF THE FIRE
DEPARTAIIENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED
FIFTY ($350.00) DOLLARS, AND THE TRANSFER OF
SAME FROM ACCOUNT Q-726 OTHER EQUIP!,,ENT, ALL
IN THE SAME CATEGORY, AND WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND.
V!B EREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of city government
to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
WF EREAS, Additional funds for the purchase of one cab
and chassis is needed by the Fire Department to assure its a-
bility to function and the sum of $350.00 is needed forthwith; and
WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not
presently needed; and more specifically as follows, to-wit:
$350.00 in Account Q-726 designated
as Other Equipment
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C CTJYON COUNCIL OF THE
ITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $350.00 be transferred from Account
=72b designated as "Other Equipment" to Account Q-722 designated as
"Motor Equipment" , both of said accounts being in the same category
'Properties" and being within the General Fund.
