RESOLUTION NO. 213-69
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of
the City of South Bend, did on the 19th day of June,
1969, adopt a resolution fixing the rates and charges
to be collected for parking of vehicles in the off-
street parking facility and establishing the hours of
operation, which resolution is as follows:

OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, Chapter 190, Acts of 1955 of the Indiana
General Assembly, provides the Board of Public Works
with the power, subject to approval of the Council, to
fix the rates and charges to be collected for the park-
ing of vehicles of any off-street parking facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend that
fees for parking in the off-street parking facilities to
be constructed under the name of "Off-Street Parking
Project 1969" be established at the rate of thirty-five
cents for the first hour, or portion thereof, fifteen
cents each additional hour, or portion thereof, with a
maximum charge for single parking of ninety-five cents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said off-street parking
facility shall remain open each business day from the hours
of 6:00 a.m. until midnight, local time.
Adopted this 19th day of June, 1969 .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA that the foregoing resolution of the
Board of Public Works and Safety be, and is hereby approved
by the Common Council.
