A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CONGRATULATING
JOHN ADAMS HIGH SCHOOL'S BASKETBALL TEAM.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend
is desirous of recognizing and commending outstanding achievements
on the part of citizens of the City of South Bend, and
WHEREAS, John Adams High School ' s basketball team was
runner-up in the Indiana High School Basketball Tournament, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council believes that special
recognition should be given to the many fine positive contributions
of students from South Bend.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, as follows:
SECTION I. That the Common Council, on behalf of
the people of the City of South Bend, extends its congratulations
and appreciation to John Adams High School ' s basketball team,
coaches, students and fans for bringing recognition and honor
to South Bend.
SECTION II. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend and approval by the Mayor.
