RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AMENDATORY CONTRACT FOR NORTHEAST CODE ENFORCEMENT
PROJECT, INDIANA E-3
WHEREAS, under the date of May 24 , 1973 the Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated an additional $57 , 341
as a grant to assist in the financing of the subject Code Enforcement
Project ; and
WHEREAS, $57 , 341 of this additional grant is for rehabilitation
grants , which is 1000 (per cent) reimbursable by the Department of
Housing and Urban Development ; and
WHEREAS, HUD has tendered to the City of South Bend, Indiana
an Amendatory Contract identified as Indiana E-3 (AMT-2) to
incorporate said additional grant into the original contract ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana that said Amendatory Contract #2 is
approved and the authority is given to the Mayor of the City of
South Bend to execute said contract on behalf of the City of South
Bend, Indiana and that the Executive Director of the Department
of Redevelopment is hereby given authority to submit said contract
of said City to HUD and to act as correspondent in all matters
pertaining thereto .
