I 1 , 1 The January 27, 2016 Community/Campus Advisory Coalition (CCAC) was called to order by Council Member at Large Gavin Ferlic at 3:30 p.m. at the SBCC Informal Meeting Room. Patrick O'Connor: Hoping to have the RA's training by the end of semester for the Green Dot Sexual Violence Program. Adriana Rodriguez: She is working on a brochure for CCAC and taxi safety. She passed drafts of each one around for all to look at and add any ideas/suggestions. She suggests having the taxi safety information available in dorm rooms and she will work with IT to put it on a website for students. The CCAC brochure will be on the CCAC website. Marguerite Taylor: February 19u' is the 15 year anniversary! There is a group of individuals going to Wisconsin to meet with a City Planner. Tasha Reed Outlaw: She has had some really good communication with students regarding issues with taxis, which have resulted in some citations being issued. There are still some issues with taxis not taking students where they need to go. Kaitlyn Baker: St. Mary's had a safety day — administration and security people were in attendance. Ken Baierl: Spring semester is going good so far. Student housing is full for the first time, with a wait list. The Annex apartment complex, which is across the street, is almost full, is accommodating students as well. There will be a women's softball team that will start next fall. Kelly Jordan: Holy Cross has a record number of students on campus and the new dorm is full, which is creating good energy on campus. There is now a medical clinic on campus. Tim Sexton: The Parks & Rec boathouse is complete and the new dock will be completed in the spring. David Gariepy: Thanks to Tasha for the help with the taxi issues. LouElla Webster: There is a Bike the Bend meeting on February Yd. Kelly Park is a priority. Gail Mancini: Mark Fox is the new Dean. Dan Allen: New residents halls are being built NE of campus. The women's hall will be moved to the new hall and there will be more renovations done to the older halls. Council Member Gavin Ferlic encourages everyone to be involved in the first Fridays. The next CCAC meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the County-City Building, 4 I Floor, Council Chambers. Council Member Gavin Ferlic thanked everyone and adjourned the meeting. 2
