RESOLUTION NO. 4,t
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING THE UNION
STATION AS AN HISTORICAL SITE LANDMARK.
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Historic
Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County,
Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the South Bend Common Council of Indiana
deems it to be in the best interest of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that:
SECTION 1. The Union Station, completed in 1929, is
an historical site landmark.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council
and approval by the Mayor.
