Dear Board Members,
On behalf of the Utilities Division, I request your permission to award bids for Water
Treatment Chemicals for a one year period commencing on May 1, 2017 based upon
the attached Bid Tab.
L Awards were made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidders.
ii. Chemrite's bid on Sodium Permanganate did not meet specifications. Award
was made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
iii. Davis Wholesale Supply's bid on Solar Salt did not meet specifications.
No Award.
iv. No bid on Dry Polymer Flocculent. A contract on the open market will be
finalized.
We ask the board to proceed with all necessary legal requirements to award bids for all
qualified vendors.
