RESOLUTION NO. j -7S-
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING
PETER J. NEMETH, COUNCILMAN -AT- LARGE,
JANUARY 1, 1972, TO DECEMBER 31, 1975.
WHEREAS, Peter J. Nemeth, Councilman -At- Large, has
served the people of South Bend, Indiana, from January 1, 1972
to December 31, 1975;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend:
SECTION 1. That the citizens of South Bend, through
their Common Council, commend and congratulate Councilman Peter
J. Nemeth for exemplary service to the people of South Bend.
SECTION 2. That the Common Council further expresses
its appreciation for the effective and dignified manner in which
Councilman Peter J. Nemeth dispatched his duties as President of
the Common Council from January 1, 1972, to December 31, 1974.
SECTION 3. That the Common Council wishes Peter J.
Nemeth great success as the next Mayor of South Bend.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council
and approval by the Mayor.
