A RESOLUTION OF THE CGEEN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT
TO THE STATE OF INDIANA, AN APPLICATION FOR PERSONNEL
TRAINING UNDER THE INTERGOVERNgENTAL PERSONNEL ACT
OF 1970 (IPA), (P.L. 91 -648).
WHEREAS, the Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City
of South Bend, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Executive Officer is required to submit an
application to the State of Indiana, pursuant to provisions of the Inter-
governmental Personnel Act of 1970;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. Hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of South
Bend to submit an application requesting ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00)
for personnel training pursuant to the Intergovernmental Personnel Act
of 1970 (IPA), (P.L. 91 -648).
SECTION II. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
