A RESOLUTION TRANFERRING $7800.00 FROM ACCOUNT 221.0
"ELECTRIC CURRENT" TO ACCOUNT 260.0 "OTHER CONTRACTUALS"
BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE RIVER BEND PLAZA BUDGET OF THE
GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption
of the existing budget for the River Bend Plaza so that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the original budget for the
various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for certain accounts within the River
Bend Plaza budget to assure that department's ability to properly perform
its functions; and
WHEREAS, Funds exist in various accounts of the River Bend Plaza
Department which are not presently needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $7800.00 be transferred between various
accounts as set forth below:
REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT

SECTION II. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and

We are requesting to use this money to pay rent during 1977
on the building which now houses the River Bend Plaza, Century
Center and Discovery Hall staffs. If you approve this method
it will not be necessary to appropriate Revenue Sharing funds
for this purpose in 1977. If the Resolution is approved, a
Purchase Order will be issued encumbering the money, and
monthly payments will be made from this encumbrance during
1977.
