A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday,
February 14, 1961 at 1:15 P.M. Mr. Ray Andrysiak was not present.
AMINT_MENT, TO POLICE DEPARTMENT
The application of Spandward R. T. Mitchem has been presented to the Board at a
previous date and applicant has been examined and has been referred to the
City Doctor and the Police Pension Fund and the examination has indicated
that the applicant is physically and mentally fit to become a member of
the Police Department. The Pension Fund Trustees recommend the
appointment of said applicant, upon the condition that he hay.d-his Ae'ieth
completely repaired within 6 months of date of appointment.
The applicant, having informed the Boarid that he is now receiving attention
from a local dentist, said recommendation of the Police Pension Fund is
approved and applicant, Spandward R. T. Mitchem is hereby appointed to the
Police Department, effective February 16, 1961. The applicant is advised
that, if at the end of 6 months, his teeth are not completely repaired, the
Board will take suitable action.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 1:35 P.M.
