SECTION II PLAN & EQUIPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE
r. Two weeks before resurfacing, the surface will be prepared by grinding down any bumps
and power washing the entire surface. This process typically requires 4 employees and one
day, per court. Once the surface is completely moisture free (weather pending), the process
of applying court patch binder and resurfacer to (3) low areas will begin. At this time, the
night (or low) temperature for the day should be at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit. It will take
one day to fill the areas and then one day (24 hours minimum) for the filled areas to dry
completely. The next step will be applying the resurfacer to the entire court. Again, the
night temperature should be a minimum of ss degrees Fahrenheit. The process of cleaning
and filling 20 Feet of cracks will take r employee 2 hours. This also needs 24 hours to
completely dry.
Once the cracks have completely dried, we will scrape the entire surface to ensure
proper smoothness. One coat of resurfacer will then be applied to 3-¢ courts at a time,
allowing proper cure time in between courts. Next, the courts will be scraped again
and blown to remove any debris. Two coats of the Color Plus top coat will be applied.
Again, surface will be scraped and blown to remove any debris before applying the next
coat. At this time, the day time temperature should be around 65-7o degrees
Fahrenheit and not lower that 55 degrees Fahrenheit at night. One day per court for
color paint application. Two coats of Tenni urt white line paint will be applied
following regulation layout. Two coats of blue f Quick Start. q Courts per day.
a. We have never used any subcontractors on a Public Works project.
3. We will not sublet any portion of the proposed work in this contract.
q. Equipment available for this project:
Line taping machine, Bobcat, power washer, split trailer (for mixing paints) as well
as multiple buckets and tools required for preparing the paints. Scraping tools,
brushes and tarps.
5. We have not entered into any contracts or received any offers for materials to be used
on this proposed project. Our price is a reflection of what our company requires to
perform the work while remaining profitable. We have come to this price after
consideration of our operating costs from the past years. This includes equipment,
labor, materials and all necessary insurance policies and bonds that are required for our
