A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday,. March 21, 1960
at10:P0 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were
read and approved.
SPecial police bonds are now approved for Frank Sochocki, Jr., and Albert A. Vascil.
Comes now Officer F. W. Voss of the Police Department and requests permission for. an
annual military leave for a period of fifteen days to attend orders from the 2668th
Air Reserve Center, United States Air Force, Fort.Wayne, Indiana for active duty tour.
The dates requested for the leave are 3-29-60 to 4-12-60 inclusive. Permission grant-
ed.
The•time'now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and the bids for the Electri-
cal Department trucks were opened and read aloud. Proofs of publication in the South
Bend Tribune and in The Record were submitted.to the Board and found sufficient. The
bids received read as follows:

The Board having examined said bid3 now award the bid to Freeman Spicer Company, being
the lowest bidder, for the above mentioned bid price.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was called ad-
journed at 10:35 A.M. A
