LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE EXCHANGE AGREEMENT
FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION AND
GOVERNMENT ACCESS CHANNEL 99
This Second Amendment of the Local Government Service Exchange Agreement for Public
Education and Government Access Channel 99 ("Agreement') is effective as of the 3" day of
January, 2017.
WHEREAS, the City of Mishawaka ("Mishawaka"), the City of South Bend ("South Bend"),
and St. Joseph County ("County"), entered into an Agreement with Michiana Public
Broadcasting Corporation (""IT") effective January 3, 2012, to provide Public Access or
Public Education and Government (PEG) Channel 99 professional production and operation
services.
NOW, THEREFORE Mishawaka, South Bend, County and WNIT agree as follows:
IV. Duration. The Duration of this Agreement shall be extended three (3) years commencing on
February 3, 2017 and terminating on February 2, 2020 for South Bend and Mishawaka; and for
one (1) year commencing on February 3, 2017 and terminating February 2, 2018 for County.
WNIT agrees to let South Bend and Mishawka out of its respective three (3) year commitments
if the County does not renew its commitment beyond February 2, 2018.
Except for the provisions herein contained, said Agreement including all Amendments, will
remain in full force and effect as previously made and amended by Mishawaka, South Bend,
County and WNIT.
