Alfa Laval has completed all work on Belt Filter Press #3. The $5,000 allowance for unforeseen issues and miscellaneous repairs was not needed during the course of the work. Therefore, Change Order No. 1 addresses this as a credit back to the City of South Bend since the funds were not used during construction. The result is a -2.60% decrease to the final contract price for the work. The funding source for this contract is Utilities, Wastewater Repair and Maintenance Other Equipment (641-0630-793-36-05).
