HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/14/59 Board of Public Works MinutesDecember 7, 1959 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, December 7, 1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, recommends installa- tion of the following 4000 lumen lights: 650 Ostemo Place 520 Parkovash Street 414 S. Phillipa Street 230 N. Huey Street 822 S. Albert Street, 2510 W. Lathrop Place Elmer and Lathrop Place Huey and Lathrop Place 508 Lindsey Street 2901 Prast Blvd. The monthly report of the Weights & Measures Department as submitted to the Board by Bert S. Cichowicz is hereby accepted and placed on file. Application for the Fire Department are hereby examined and placed on file for Melvin Lesniewicz, Eugene Kurdys, James Cauley, James Bad6wski, Kenneth Witkowski, Daniel Tafelski, and Chester Jaronik. Applications for the Police Department are hereby examined and placed on file for John Roberts and Richard Klingerman. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:25 A.M. CHAIRMAN ATTEST: ANT J. SABO, CLERK December 14, 1959 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, December 14, 1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Application for Special Police Officer is approved for Kenneth F. Ludwig. The monthly report of the Police Department is hereby accepted and placed on file in this office. Upon recommendation by Acting Police Chief Richard E. Burkhart, the Board hereby approves that Lieut. Edward.Hanyzewski be promoted to the rank of Captain effective December 16, 1959 and be assigned to the Detective Bureau as Training Officer. Also, Officer Thomas McNaughton be promoted to Detective Sergeantand be reassigned to the Detective Bureau effective December 16, 1959.
