All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. I. graduation ceremony in Washington leaving the City on May 29 and returning for duty on the 4th of June, 1959. Special Policemen`s bonds are approved for Charles Rockwell and Michael Grubbs. A petition is hereby received from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jordan and several others asking for the improvement of the 200 block Dundee Street at the alley by the con- struction of -street lighting. Petition referred to the City Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation. Special police application is hereby approved for Maria Van Kirk. Comes now Mr. Alexander, 2224 W. Orange Street and asks that he be granted permission to have his condemnation hearing continued for a period of two (2) weeks. Permission granted.
