A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, May 18, 1959
at 10:OO,A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting
were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $8012.58 were approved and

Permission is hereby granted to Detective Sgt. John C. Crawford to attend the Retail
Merchants Security Conference scheduled for May 27, 1959 at Purdue University.
The monthly report for APril, 1959 of the Weights & Measures Department is hereby
accepted and placed on file in the office of the Board.
There being no further business to come before the Board, it was so announced and
the meeting was called adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
