A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, February 16,
1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular
meeting were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $2,137.79 were
approved and ordered paid to the following suppliers:

Weights & Measures Department. Bids will be taken on the 2nd day of March,

The time now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and the bids for the Police
Department were opened and read aloud. Proofs of publication in the South Bend
Tribune with an affidavit signed by Robert DeLong and in thq Record with an affidavit
signed by W. DeCanio were submitted to the Board and found sufficient. The bids re-
ceived read as follows:
