Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were accepted and placed on file for Madge Wilson. Police Chief Dutrieux appeared before the Board and requested permission to send Officers Russell Ryker and Robert Horvath to school for Criminal Tests for Intoxi- cation at Indiana University on October 6, thru October 11, 1958 and also to send Officers Hampton and McNaughton to School for Criminal Homicide at the University of Cinncinnatti on the day of October, 1958. Permission granted. Special police applications are now approved by the Board for Rene Blondia, 814 E. Indiana Avenue and Donn L. Smith, 3947 Montgolfier Place. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 1000 A.M. A ATTEST:' A J. After discussion with the Board, the Board members now decide that the appeal of Mr. Chambers be denied and that he further discuss the natter with Mr. Graybarz to possiblkr'_Wgrk out this matter to comply with Building Code requirements. - of City of South Bend, Indiana. The monthly reports for August and September, 1958 as submitted to the Board by Bert Chichowiz for the Weights & Measures Department are hereby accepted and placed on file in the office of the Board.
