A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, June 2,
1958 in the office of theBoard, at 10:00 A.M. Minutes of the previous regu-
lar meeting were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $2135.03
were approved and ordered paid to the following suppliers:

Applications for the Police Department were approved for Willie Robertson and
placed on file.
Applications for the Fire Department were approved for James Makowski and placed
on file.
Nick Horvath, Elec. Department Superintendent, recommends the installation of
the following street lights:
The addition of ten (10) 4000 lumen lights on LaPorte Avenue
from Washington Street to Lincoln Way west and increase two(2)
present lights from 1000 lumen to 4000 lumen.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad-
journed at 10:35 A.M.
