The Board of Public Safety met in the Public Agenda Session at 8:09 a.m. on Wednesday, ovemb
4,2009 with President Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Patrick D. Cottrell, Bruce onDura
Laura Vasquez, and Eddie Miller!,;�resent. ANQgesent were Police Chief Darryl Bogkin
Howard Buchanon, and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar.
The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13"' Floor County City
Building, South Bend, Indiana.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Dempsey declared the meeting
adjourned at 8:25 a.m.

The Board of Public Safety met in the regular meeting at 9:19 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4,
2009, with President Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Bruce BonDurant,
Laura Vasquez, and Eddie Miller present. Also present were Police Chief Darryl Boykins, Fire Chief
Howard Buchanon and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar.
The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13"' Floor County City
Building, South Bend, Indiana.
ACCEPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
President Dempsey advised that if there were no objections by members of the Board, the minutes of
the Public Agenda Session, Executive Session, and Regular Meetings of the Board held on October
14, 2009 would be accepted as presented.
ACCEPT 2010 BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY SCHEDULE
President Dempsey stated if there were no objections the following 2010 schedule of Board of Public
Safety meetings would be accepted for filing:

President Dempsey stated the Board would be bolding a Special Meeting on November 10, 2009 at
8 :15 a. m, in the same room. "There being no further business to come before the Board, President
Dempsey declared the meeting adjourned at 10:02 a.m.
