A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, April 7,
1958 at10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous
regular meeting were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $6,504.53

Applications for the Police Department were approved and placed on file for Stephen
Keresztesi, 3315 S. St. Joseph Street, South Bend, Indiana.
Bert S. Cichowicz, City Sealer, submitted to the Board his monthly report for March
of the Weights and Measures Department. Accepted and placed on file.
Nick, Horvath, Supt. of the Electrical Department, recommends the installation of
a 4000 lumen light at the intersection of South Bend Avenue and Garland Street and
also that the street light on Madison Street, between Main and Lafayette Street, be
increased from 2500 lumen to 4000 lumen. Board approves recommendation of Mr. Horvath.
There being no further business to come before the Board, ,the meetin was adjourned
at 10:45 A.M. (CST)./
