A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, March 17,
1958 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous
regular meeting were read and approved. Claims of the following suppliers in

The monthly report of the Weights & Measures Department as submitted to the Board
by Bert S. Cichowicz, City Sealer is hereby accepted and placed on file.
Applications for the Fire Department are now approved for Schuyler Braboy.
Dt. Sgt. Paul Thomas of the South Bend Police Department having completed 20 years
of service on the Police Department as of March 13, 1958 now requests his terminal
leave as of March 17, 1958 and requests that he be placed on the pension roll on
April 1, 1953. Terminal leave of said Paul Thomas is now approved by the Board
this 17th day of March, 1958.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting will be
adjourned as of 10:30 A.M. (CST).
