A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, February 17,
1958 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous

The Board now approves the application for a Special Police Officer to a one
Mr. Robert Gammage.
Applications for the South Bend Police Department were approved and ordered placed
on file for Cecil Buck, Jr., and John Laszczynski.
The plans as submitted to the Board by Callix Miller for the construction of a new
Service Garage Addition to Central Fire Station at 202-212 East Wayne Street, on the
rear portion of Lot 329, Original Plat to theCity of South Bend, Indiana are hereby
approved by the Board this 17th day of February, 1958. The Notice for Bidding is
hereby ordered and said publications will appear in the South Bend Tribune and The
Record on the 21st and 28th days of February, 1958 and bids will be received at this
office on the loth day of March,_ 1958.
