Three (3) Police Servi-car motorcycles, 45 cubic inch, Model GA Total net price---------$4148.20 After examination of the bids and bids having met requirements as set out in specifications, the Board now awards the bids to the Freeman Spicer Company and Harley Davidson Sales for the Police Department equipment. There being no further business to come before this Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:55 A.M. (CST). CHAIRMAN ATTEST: ANTH(*Y,/,Y. Hearing to be held on Monday, February 10, 1958. The bids for the servi-cycle are all rejected and notice to bidders will be re -advertised. Bids to be taken again on the 17th day of February, 1958. Police Department applications were accepted and placed on file for James Stroud. Fire Department applications were accepted and placed on file for Paul Harvey. The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to advertise for bids for re -wiring at the Central Fire Station, vehicles for the Electrical Department, and for a servi-cycle for the Parking Meter Department. Publications to appeared in the South Bend Tribune and The Reocrd on the 7th and 14th days of February,1958 and the bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. on the 17th day of February,1958. The:, -Batt. Chief Lederer and Steve Horvath now requests permission to attend the Fifty Fire Administrators Seminar at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana on February 7, 1958.
